Joe Gilmartin,
Patrician Park, Castlebar (6th February, 2025) - in his 95th year, peacefully, surrounded by his family, after a short illness.
Devoted husband to the late Máire, much loved father to the late Eoin, and to Emer, Martin, Ivor, Máire and Brendan, grandfather to Naoise, Martina, Patrick and Ainara.
Deeply regretted by his extended family and dear friends.

Joe will repose in Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar, F23 XY63 on Friday, 7th February from 5.30pm with removal at 7pm to his residence.
Removal from his residence on Saturday morning at 10.30a.m for Requiem Mass at 11.30a.m in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.
Joe will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery.

Fond memories of Joe as our french teacher in St Gerald's in the early 70's and of Joe driving us to golf competions in his VW Beetle. Great days with plenty of fun.
