Anne Morris nee Brogan,

Wolvercote, Oxford, England and formerly of Carracanada, Swinford, Co. Mayo - passed away peacefully on January 14th 2025, aged 88 years.

Predeceased by her husband Tom, brothers Pat, John and Jim, sisters Mary, Peg and Chris and sons-in-laws Terry and Allister.

Survived by her daughters Margaret and Elizabeth and son in law Tommy. Nieces Teresa and Sharon, nephews Michael and Sean, sisters in law, brothers in law and all her extended and much loved family, neighbours and friends.

May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Funeral Mass will take place at The Oxford Oratory on Friday 7th February at 12 noon, followed by burial in the local cemetery.

Our deepest sympathies to Margaret and Elizabeth, the extended family of Anne including son-in-law and nieces and nephews, Sharon and Sean, Teresa and Micheal.
Anne was a dear friend to my Aunty Bernie and close neighbour to our family.
It is wirh sadness that we say goodbye to the last of the Brogan family who were so well known and well loved in "our village". Fond memories will remain of heading over the boreen to Brogans for a visit.
Mrs Brogan - Anne's Mom - was an absolute lady. She kindly helped me with my maths when I started secondary school.
Other memories I have are of visits to Brogans after they received gifts from the American cousins - imagine the joys for us kids having a supper of American cookies and peanut butter around their lovely kitchen table!
Anne continued the Brogan's kindness and thoughtfulness to the present, her's was always the very first Christmas card I received every year.
These are memories I'll cherish forever.
