Maura Valkenburg,

Quay Street, Belmullet, Co. Mayo and formerly of The Square, Belmullet, Co. Mayo - peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar surrounded by her family on 28th January 2025.

Predeceased by her brothers Eamon, Seán and Buddy and her sister, Sr. Éilis.

She will be sadly missed by her nephews Peter and Stephen, sister-in-law Joan, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Thursday evening from 5 o’clock until 6.30 with funeral arriving at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet at 7.30.

Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11 o’clock followed by burial in Glencastle New Cemetery.
