Seán T. McLoughlin,

Callow, Foxford, (Retired Principal St. Josephs Secondary School, Foxford) and formerly of Kilcon, Kiltimagh - peacefully in the care of the nurses, doctors & staff of Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar. 

Seán T. was predeceased by son David, his brothers Anthony, Mickey and Pat and his sister Moira.

Seán T. be dearly and lovingly missed by his wife Eithne, son Gerard, daughters Ann and Emer, his adored grandchildren Seán, Thomas, Ciara, Gráinne and Maeve, his daughter in-law Shirley, sons in-law Kevin and Fergie, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, former colleagues and a large circle of friends.

Rest in peace Seán T.

Seán T. will repose in Clarke’s Funeral Home, Foxford (F26 TH27) on Tuesday evening from 4.30 until 6.30.

Funeral will arrive to St. Thomas Church, Callow (F26 P447) on Wednesday for Funeral Mass at 12 midday, with the funeral proceeding to Craggagh Cemetery, Foxford

Such sad, sad news, He was a great teacher with a wicked sense of humour. He was very supportive and genuinely cared about this students and he gave many of us a pass.

My favourite memory is getting to school late (4-5days/week) I would go around the wall, hanging over the brook and once I was standing on the other side and as I turned, there he would be. He would have a smirk on his face saying “you still have to sign the late book”
