Paddy McGovern,

Tullycommons, Snugboro, Castlebar and late of The Quay, Newport (21st January 2025) - suddenly at his residence.

Predeceased by his parents Patricia and Johnny (Newport), brothers John and Desmond and parents-in-law Paddy and Margaret (Tourmakeady).

Greatly missed by his wife Mary, daughters Aislinn and Róisín, granddaughter Síomha, son-in-law David, Róisín’s partner Shane, sister Trish (Hoban) and her husband Ger, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncle, nephews, nieces, relatives, great friends and neighbours.

Rest in peace.

Paddy will repose at Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar, F23 XY63 on Friday, 24th January from 5pm with removal at 7pm to his residence.

Removal from his residence on Saturday morning at 10.15am for Requiem Mass at 11.30am in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Paddy will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery.
