Bernie Keville (née Fleming),

The Western Hotel, Prospect Hill, Galway City and formerly of Claremorris, Co. Mayo - peacefully at her home on 11th January 2025.

Predeceased by her husband Joe and son-in-law Gerry.

Bernie will be sadly missed by her children Linda, Edel, Eugene, Shirley and Brian, sons-in-law Tarla and Scott, daughters-in-law Breege and Mairead, grandchildren Conor, Ronan, Jack, Fiona, Tom, Sophie, Mark, Joe, Max, Rhona, Sarah and Paddy, sister Chris, brother Colm, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May Bernie's Kind and Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Irwin's Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin (H91 CK84), on Tuesday evening, the 14th of January from 5pm with removal at 7pm to her home.

Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday morning, the 15th of January at 11am, in St. Patrick's Church, Forster Street. Bernie will then be laid to rest with Joe, in The New Cemetery Bohermore.

So sad to learn of the passing of Bernie may she Rest in Peace. Bernie and her entire family certainly retained strong links with their roots here in the village of their birth.

Requìescat in pace Bernie Fleming Keville and condolences to her family and siblings (Colm and Chris)...I'm unable to attend obsequies due to weather, geriatrics and domestic obligations...Mary remembers fondĺy meeting Bernie in Calvary maternity ward on December 1972 which turned out to be a happy occasion for both mothers...I'll call into the Western Hotel next time I'm in Galway...a star has dimmed over Garryredmond with Bernie's passing.
