Gerry Shryane,

Annaghmore, Gurteen, Co. Sligo - peacefully in his 97th year, in the wonderful care of the staff in Bailey’s Nursing Home, Tubbercurry, surrounded by his loving family on January 10th 2025.

Predeceased by his wife Beatie.

Gerry will be very sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughter Mary, son Padraig, son-in-law Damien, grandchildren Aoibhe, Ellen and Diarmuid, sister Phil (Liverpool), nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May Gerry’s Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace.

Gerry will repose in O’Dowd’s Funeral Home, Gurteen, (F56 F894), on Sunday (12th January) from 5pm until 7pm. Removal from his daughter Mary’s home, on Monday morning, to St. Patrick’s Church, Gurteen, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Burial afterwards in Carrentemple Cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be live-streamed via webcam at www.churchtv.ie/gurteen
