Mary Durkan nee Ward,

Lusk, Co. Dublin and formerly of Carrandine, Balla, Co. Mayo (former principal of St. Teresa’s NS, Balbriggan) – 6th January 2025, peacefully in Hamilton Park Nursing Home after a long illness.

Predeceased by her husband Gerry and her brother Paddy.

Mary will be sadly missed by her sons Garrett, Mark, Michael and Jarlath, grandchildren Leanne, Jerry, Ciarán, Leah, Gemma and Niamh, brothers John and Michael, sister Kathleen, daughters-in-law Donna, Tiffany, Mitzie May and Amy, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at McNally’s Funeral Home on Thursday, 9th January from 5pm until 7pm.

Removal on Friday, 10th January to St. MacCullin’s Church, Lusk arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Whitestown Cemetery.

Family flowers only.
