Paddy (Patrick) McGirr,

Culleen, Kilsallagh, Westport, Co. Mayo and formerly of Lucan, Co. Dublin (ex An Garda Siochána) January 7th 2025 - peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of the Sacred Heart Hospital, Castlebar.

Predeceased by his parents Peter & Margaret (née Walsh), brothers John, Peter, Tommy, James and infant Michael, sisters Bridie & Ann.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his nephews Eamonn, James & Ray (Kilgarriff), cousins, extended Walsh & Mc Girr families, former colleagues, neighbours and many friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Paddy will rest in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Friday (January 10th) from 6:00pm, concluding with Vigil Prayers at 7:00pm, followed by removal to St. Patrick's Church, Lecanvey.

Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11:00am followed by interment in Gloshpatrick Cemetery, Murrisk.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Mayo / Roscommon Hospice, c/o Sweeney Funeral Directors, Louisburgh.
