James (Jimmy) Conlon

Toughnane, Bohola and formerly of Latton, Co. Monaghan - peacefully at Mayo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his wife Angela, brother Michael J.and sister Alice.

Sadly missed by his daughters Pauline Foy, Luton and Dympna Dunleavy, Balla and son Gerard, sons-in-law Mick and Paul, daughter in law Barbara, nine grandchildren, Jason, Shane, Kevin, Conor, Aaron, Shauna, Adam, Stephen and Ciara, sisters Eileen and Anne, sister-in laws, nephews, nieces,  neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Sheridan Memorial Community Centre (F12 VP28) on Saturday evening from 4.30 until 6.30 with removal to The Church of the Immaculate Conception and St. Joseph, Bohola.

Funeral Mass on Sunday morning at 11 o’clock followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Bohola.

Dear Dympna. I made your aquaintenance on Fri 27th while in with your Dad in A & E. He was ahead of me waiting for Xrays. I was let home at 3am as I didn’t have the same result as your Dad. I was stunned to hear of his passing and I need to send you and your family my deepest sympathy on the sudden event that changed your lives so dramatically. I feel your pain more because I was there that night and your Dad and I were in that same boat but with different end results. He kept us all amused that night with his many amusing sayings. You are all in my thoughts since 2nd Jan. My own father died on 2nd Jan 40 yrs ago and I know what you all are going through. May James good soul rest in peace now.
