Margaret (Elizabeth) Ormsby (née McGovern), 

AnovoCare Nursing Home, Co. Dublin, formerly of Garden Street and The Moorings Ballina, Co. Mayo and Killargue, Co. Leitrim.

She passed peacefully at Beaumont Hospital on December 30th, 2024.

Predeceased by her parents, brothers Frank and Tommy and sister in law Eithne.

Beloved wife of Oliver and much loved mother of Micheál, Adrian, Geraldine and the late Elaine.

Margaret will be deeply missed and remembered always by her husband, sons and daughter, her cherished grandchildren Ellen, Alanna, Oisín, Juliette, Fionn and Aoibhí. Her sister Kathleen and brother-in-law Mikey, her son-in-law Maher, her daughters-in-law Samantha and Helen, her nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Blanchardstown on Sunday evening 5th January from 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock.

Removal to St. Brigid’s Church, Blanchardstown on Monday morning 6th January arriving for Requiem Mass at 10 o’clock followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery.

Deepest sympathy to Margaret's husband Oliver and to her children and grandchildren on her recent death. She nursed in The Moy Ridge Nursing Home some years ago. and endeared herself to everyone here. Her professionalism as a caring nurse was clearly evident. We became great friends and shared many a story. I really appreciated her kindness and good humour. I was deeply saddened to hear of her death. She was one of those special people who always lifted your spirits if you were in any difficulty. No words can adequately convey how highly I thought of her. I know that The Good Lord has rewarded her for her goodness.
