Mary Lohan,

Clooncunore, Newbridge and Kilkerrin, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway - completed her life's journey in her 99th year, peacefully, in the tender care of the staff of St. Teresa's Ward in Roscommon Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on December 30th 2024.

Pre-deceased by her husband Tom, her sisters Delia Kerrigan, Sr. Sile and Noreen Harris, brothers Johnny, Mike and Matt.

Forever loved and sadly missed by her children Teresa Mills (Tuam), Bridie Carton (Kilkerrin) and John (Manchester UK), sons in law Eamon and Kevin,  daughter in law Marie, grandchildren Richard, Emma, Shauna, Shane, Hannah, Thomas, Ivy and Domenic, great-grandchildren Kaylum and Thomas, sister, Sr. Christine (Galway) and brother Mark (Wales), sisters in law, Frances (USA), Bridie (UK), brother in law Peter (UK), nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May her kind and gentle soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Kilkerrin Community Centre (H53 K7F9) on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 5pm to 8pm. 

Funeral Mass will be held in St. Joseph's Church (H53Y326), Kilkerrin on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12 noon, followed by burial in Kilkerrin cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Mary. I had the pleasure of visiting her in Galway Hospital many years ago while my mother was a patient there at the same time. She was a great patient with such a positive attitude and always so pleasant. May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace. My sincere sympathy to Teresa, Bridie , John , Sr Christine and the extended family. I am so sorry I cannot attend the funeral....but know you are remembered in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
