Mary Patricia Hegarty 

John Paul Centre, Ballybane, Galway and formerly of Castleruby, Tulsk, Co. Roscommon. 

Peacefully on the 29th December 2024, aged 56, in the presence of her loving family and in the care of John Paul Centre, Ballybane, Galway. 

Predeceased by her father Paddy and infant sister Catherine.

Deeply regretted by her devoted mother Maureen, brothers Willie (Roscommon), Jimmy (Castleruby) and Patrick (Ballintubber), sisters Ann (Kelly, Castlerea) and Martina (Claregalway), brother-in-law Tony, sisters-in-law Dympna and Gail, Martina's fiancé Ross, nieces Laura, Michelle and Katie, nephew Daniel, aunts, uncles-in-law, aunts-in-law, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

A special word of thanks to the staff of John Paul Centre and Galway Hospice for their dedicated care.

May Mary's Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at Flanagan's Funeral Home, Castleplunkett, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon on Tuesday evening, 31st December 2024 from 5pm until 7pm.

Removal from her family home on Wednesday morning 1st January 2025 to St. Paul's Church, Kilmurray for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial afterwards in Rathmoyle cemetery. 

House private please.

Family flowers only.

Donations in lieu of flowers if desired to National Breast Cancer Research Institute, NUIG.
