Kathleen Tomas,

The Bridge, Ballyglass, Ballycastle, Co. Mayo - peacefully, at home in her 103rd year.

Predeceased by her parents Michael and Catherine Sweeney, her sister Bridgie, brothers Johnny and Paddy, husband Michael, and her grandson Michael Edward.

Deeply regretted by her sons Michael, Donal, and Padraig, daughters-in-law Bridie and Catherine, grandchildren Karen, Lorna, Arlene, Emma and Patrick, Emma's husband Declan, great-grandchild Rhea, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Lynn's Funeral Home, Killala on Saturday evening from 5 o'clock until 6.30pm.

Funeral will arrive at St. Bridget's Church, Ballycastle on Sunday morning for Mass at 11.30am followed by burial in Ballycastle cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Pieta House.

My sincere condolences to Donal, Michael, Padraic and the extended Tomas family on the death of Kathleen, who was a most wonderful lady and a truly exceptional neighbour and friend. I have fond memories of her many phone calls to check on the welfare of my late Father, when he was ill, which demonstrated what a kind and caring person she was. She will be greatly missed in the community. It was a privilege to visit her and sit in her company when she celebrated her birthdays over the last few years. May she rest in peace.
