Sarah (Sadie) Rooney née Melia,

Carrowrevagh Beg, Brownsgrove, Tuam Co. Galway - peacefully in her 97th year on December 1st, 2024 in the wonderful care of the staff at the Galway Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.

Sarah is predeceased by her husband Martin, parents Michael & Sarah Melia, brothers & sisters.

Sarah is deeply mourned by her sons Michael, Vincent, Frank & Anthony, daughters Margaret & Eileen, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, her many grandchildren & great grandchildren, relatives, neighbours & friends .

May Her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Glynn’s Funeral Home, Dunmore, H54NY61 this Tuesday evening, December 3rd from 6pm with removal at 8pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Cortoon.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Family flowers only please.
