Michael Keane,

Sinolane, Kilmovee, Co. Mayo - peacefully, in the wonderful care of Eithne and the nurses and staff of Oakwood Nursing Home, Ballaghaderreen.

September 23rd, 1938– November 22nd, 2024

Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Mary, his brother Francis and his brother-in-law PJ McDermott.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his sister Mary and Theresa, his nephews Aidan and Gerard, their wives Ciara and Sandra and grand-nephews Cian and Liam,, extended family and a wide circle of wonderful neighbours and friends.

May He Rest in Peace.

Michael will repose in The Sharkey Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Sunday from 5pm. Removal at 7.15pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Glann arriving at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday at 11am followed by interment in Urlaur Abbey cemetery.

A man that held fast to his religious and political beliefs But Keane as he was affectionately know to his friends as, will be fondly remembered as a great and kind neighbour who always appeared quietly and unannounced when a neighbour needed a helping hand or just someone to talk to.
