Dan O’Donnell

Emlybeg South, Binghamstown, Belmullet and formerly of Porturlin, Ballina, Co. Mayo and Sunnyside, Queens, New York - peacefully at the Galway Clinic on 21st November 2024.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Ellen O’Donnell, sisters Mary, Annie, Ellen and Bridgie and brothers J.J., Paddy and Martin and infant brothers Tom and Hugh.

Beloved husband of Mary and dear father of Colleen, Angela, Daniel and Nora. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, cherished grandchildren Conn, Saorla, Flynn, Sé, Miya, Ellie, Alana, Danny, Lexie and Frankie, brothers Tony and Michael, sons in law Willie, Mark and Denis, daughter in law Martina, brothers in law, sisters in law, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May His Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Remains reposing at his residence (Eircode – F26 EY63) on Friday evening from 5 o’clock until 8 o’clock and Saturday afternoon from 1 o’clock until 6 o’clock. Funeral will arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, Binghamstown on Sunday morning for Funeral Mass at 10.30 followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing on Sunday morning at 10.30 on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page with all other funeral services available for viewing on Sunday evening from  7 O’Clock.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to “Croí” to be made payable online via the Croí iDonate page.

House will be Strictly Private to Family on Sunday morning.
