Mary Carmel (Carmel) Newton née McGinty,

Malin Head, Donegal; London, England and 17 Golf Course Road, Carraholly, Westport (F28 T448) - peacefully in the care of the MacBride Community Nursing Unit, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Jane, brother Raymond and sister Joan.

Carmel will be deeply missed by her loving husband David, children Peter, Andrew, Marie (Hastings, Buckfield, Kilmeena) and Helen, her grandchildren and great grand-daughter, sisters Margaret (Refoy), Anne (Druhan), brothers John, Michael (Ted), brothers-in-law, son and daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace

Remains reposing at home in Westport on Friday, 22nd November from 5pm until 7pm.

House strictly private at all other times.

Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Westport on Saturday, 23rd November at 11am, followed by burial at Aughavale Cemetery
