Pat McGovern,

Pound Street, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon (July 26th, 1959 – October 24th, 2024) - peacefully, with his family by his side, in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at The Roscommon Hospice.

Pre-deceased by his father, Freddie and his nephew David.

Pat will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his heartbroken family, his mother Evelyn, brother Harry, sisters Miriam, Denise (Clarke), Emer (Smyth), brothers-in-law Ray and Paul, nephews Paul, Jonathan, David and Davin, nieces Rachel, Lara, Eva and Laoise, his newborn grand-nephew Caleb, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May He Rest in Peace.

Pat will repose in his mother’s home (Ashburton Grove, Ballaghaderreen, Eircode F45 AK03) on Sunday from 2pm until 6pm.

Removal from his mother’s home on Monday at 11.30am to St. Nathy’s Cathedral arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon, with the funeral proceeding to Kilcolman Cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in Pat’s memory can be made to The Mayo / Roscommon Hospice Palliative Care Services.
