Dorothy Richardson née Breheny,

Calva House, Carracastle, Co. Roscommon (October 17th, 2024) - peacefully in her 90th year, at Mayo University Hospital, with her family by her side.

Pre-deceased by her husband Pat.

Dorothy will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons Al and Derek, daughters Mary (Colman), Frances (Tansey), Nuala (Cannon) and Clodagh (Richmond), sister Noreen (Ryan), grandchildren Lorraine, Jonathan, Patricia, Maeve, Aoife, Ciarán, Niamh, Leeann, Seana, Carra, Aoibhín, David, Natasha, Sarah, Thomas and Ciara, great-grandchildren Rían, Caolán, Seán, Saorla, John, Eva, Callum, Killian and Liam, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May She Rest in Peace.

Dorothy will repose in The Sharkey Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Sunday evening from 5pm until 7pm.  

Removal from the home of her son and daughter-in-law (Al and Geraldine, Curragoola, Carracastle) on Monday morning at 11.45am to St. James’ Church, Carracastle, arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 12noon, with the funeral proceeding to Carracastle Cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in Dorothy’s memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
