Margaret (Maggie) Ginty nee Togher,

Aughness North, Ballycroy - peacefully at St. Brendan's Nursing Home, Mulranny in her 98th year. Predeceased by her husband Conor.

Maggie will be sadly missed by her son Tony and daughter Mary, daughter-in-law Peggy, son-in-law Jim, brother Willie, sister-in-law Bridgie and sister-in-law Ellen, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, relations, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.

May her gentle soul Rest In Peace.

Remains reposing at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Ballycroy (F28KF20) on Friday evening from 4pm until 6.30pm with funeral arriving to the Church of the Holy Family, Ballycroy for 7.30pm.

Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11.30am with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Mass will be live streamed on Holy Family Church Ballycroy Facebook page.

Family flowers only.

Donations if desired to St. Brendan's, Mulranny c/o Sweeney Funeral Directors Ballycroy.

House private please at all times. 

Due to Funeral Mass on Saturday morning, Mass in Innisbiggle Island will now be held at 3pm.

Maggie was a permanent fixture all my life - a great neighbour, who always had a kind word and a great welcome whenever we crossed paths. She had a feel for people and knew generations of everyone's family, which I loved. When I was a young lad, Maggie's husband Conor was still alive, and was a huge man in every sense. I saw the two of them as a team, and after his passing Maggie continued to be a central part of life in the community. She had a great sense of pride in herself, her family and her community and I always felt Maggie had a great love of life. She carried herself with great style and that will always be an enduring memory. Maggie was our neighbour and family friend for as long as I can remember and she will be missed. May she rest in peace.
