Mártáin McLoughlin (Special Olympian),

St Brendan’s NCU, Mulranny and formerly of Glencoe, Achill, Co. Mayo (on 25th September 2024).

Predeceased by his parents John and Rosie, his brother Pauraic and sister Lilly, his nieces Sorcha Rose and Maria and his sister-in-law Mary Angela.

Mártáin will be deeply mourned and lovingly remembered by his brothers Michael John, Tony and Thomas, his sister Margaret Walsh, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Lavelle’s Funeral Home, Cashel, Achill (F28 Y0H9) on Saturday, 28th September 2024 from 5pm to 7pm and later Saturday evening at his home in Sraheens for family and friends.

Removal from his residence on Sunday evening, 29th September at 5pm to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Derreens.

Requiem Mass on Monday, 30th September at 11am with burial afterwards in Glencoe cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to St Brendan’s Care Home, Mulranny.

Funeral Mass can be live-streamed on the Kildownet Community Facebook page.
