Thomas (Tom) Kissel
 
Plougastel Court, Distillery Road, Westport and formerly of Devlin, Killadoon, Louisburgh and West Germany (August 22nd 2024) - peacefully in the exceptional care of the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of The Mayo Hospice, Castlebar following a brief illness bravely borne.
 
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his extended family, his wonderful network of friends who were so very supportive of Tom.
 
May He Rest In Peace.
 
Tom will rest in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Monday evening from 5:00pm, Concluding at 6:00pm, followed by removal to New Killeen Cemetery for Interment and Committal Prayers at 6:30pm.
 
Donations in lieu of flowers if desired to Mayo / Roscommon Hospice donate HERE or c/o Sweeney Funeral Directors, Louisburgh.

We all knew Tom as , Tom the German..He came amongst us , if I m right in the year 1990 or 1991. Lived in Devlin for some time and then moved on outside Westport..
Sound guy who done his own thing and no harm on anybody.i always liked meeting him and he would always have the chat and a laugh.

Very sad to hear of Tom's passing. Was only thinking about him the day before I heard of his death. He was my neighbour in the Knappagh flats. Enjoyed the good laughs in his charaterful apparment. Funny guy with a good heart. We new him as Cuban Tom as for the love of Cuba he had. He was some character. RIP Tomas.
