Sr. Josephine McCann

Convent of Mercy, St. Joseph’s Road, Longford and formerly of Kiltybranks, Lisacul, Ballaghaderreen and Convent of Mercy, Sligo, 2nd August 2024.
Peacefully in the tender care of the doctors, nurses and care staff in the “Ciuin” Suite, Midland’s Regional Hospital, Mullingar.

Pre-deceased by her parents Michael and Catherine, her brothers Michael, Christopher, Patrick, John, Anthony and her sister Mary.
Lovingly remembered by her nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, relatives, lifelong friend Carol, friends, teaching colleagues and by the Sisters of Mercy Western Province.

Reposing in Convent Chapel, Longford on Sunday 4th August from 5.00pm concluding with prayers at 7.00pm.

Removal to St. Mel’s Cathedral, Longford on Monday 5th August to arrive for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.00am.
Interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery, Longford.
