David Dwane, on behalf of Moy Valley Resources IRD, Ballina
Moy Valley Resources IRD, Ballina extends its sympathies to the family and friends of our board member, supporter, friend and all round gentleman, Sean Tempany.
Sean was a Director of Moy Valley Resources for over 30 years, and we benefited greatly from his wisdom and experience, as did other organisations in his native Templeboy and West Sligo.
Sean was instrumental in the setting up of the first LEADER programme for Moy Valley Resources as well as many other programmes delivered by the company during his directorship. He had a warm, infectious smile and kind words of support and encouragement for everyone in Moy Valley Resources.
He will be sorely missed.

Tomás Gilmartin - Castleconnor
My sincere condolences to John and Austin and extended circle of family and friends on Sean's passing. I got to know Sean as a true gentleman who genuinely supported all volunteers and their efforts to improve our local communities. During the more than twenty years I spent volunteering under his leadership, Sean was an inspiration to others, always viewing obstacles as opportunities to grow and get better. Sean left behind a lot in our communities today, but he never sought recognition. West Sligo will sincerely miss your welcoming smile and friendly demeanour. He finished every meeting with God Bless, I'm sure God has taken this good man home to be reunited again with his cherished wife Jeanette and daughter Jennifer. Til our next meeting, farewell and rest in peace.
