Maura Downey nee Prendergast

Porterstown, Dublin, formerly of Easton Park, Leixlip, Co. Kildare and Newtown, Clogher, Co. Mayo - July 22nd 2024 – peacefully surrounded by her family and in the loving care of the staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.

Pre-deceased by her parents John and Mary.

Maura, beloved wife of Noel of 51 years, cherished mother of Dermot, John and Teresa, devoted grandmother to Aimee, Ian, Céala and Claragh and dear sister of Christy, Edwin, Catherine, Ann, John (Junior), Pauric and the late Michael.

Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Kim, John’s partner Karen, Teresa’s partner Ciarán, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends R.I.P. 

Reposing at her residence on Thursday evening from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock.

Removal to St. Mochta’s Church, Porterstown on Friday morning arriving for Requiem Mass at 10 o’clock followed by burial in Confey Cemetery, Leixlip.
