Evening Prayer and Removal tomorrow Friday in St.Columban's Dalgan Park, Navan at 7 o’clock.

 

Funeral Mass on Saturday in St.Columban's Church Dalgan Park, at 11 o’clocok followed by burial in the Community Cemetery.

I had the privilege of living and working with “Padre Pato” in Chile during the difficult years of military dictatorship. Firm and lasting friendships were forged during those years a Pat was a frequent visitor to our Mercy convent across the road from the presbytery in Santiago. Perhaps because we shared a common surname Egan ( in Chile I was Sr. Ann Gleeson Egan) we felt a special bond….no doubt there is a connection somewhere. I remember meeting several of Pat’s family members over the years. My deepest sympathy to all of his family both Egan and Columbano.
