Mary Duignan nee Lyons

Greenfield Road, Knockroe, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon, on Tuesday, 16th July 2024. 

Mary, formerly of Newbridge, Co. Galway, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family in the loving care of the Claddagh Ward, UHG, after an illness bravely borne.

She is predeceased by her brothers Tom and Jimmy and granddaughter Gemma.

Mary will be sadly missed by her loving husband Paddy, sons Noel, Kieran and Padraig, daughters Caroline and Martina, her cherished grandchildren Cian, Aran, Emily and Cathal, daughters-in-law Eleanor, Tara and Cathriona, son-in-law Aidan, sister Nonie, brothers Johnny and Paddy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, The Square, Castlerea (Eircode F45 HH24) on Thursday evening (18th July) from 5 o’clock until 8 o’clock. 

Funeral arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea on Friday morning (19th July) for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Mary’s funeral Mass will be live-streamed on St. Patrick’s Church webcam (www.mcn.live)
Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Mayo / Roscommon Hospice.
