Sr. Attracta Shiels,
 
late of the Convents of Mercy Collooney, Swinford and Ballysadare and formerly of Corhober, Ballymote, Co. Sligo - peacefully, at Abbey Haven Nursing Home, Boyle, Co. Roscommon on 13th July, 2024.
 
Reunited in her Heavenly Home with her parents, Michael and Ellen, her sisters, Sr. Kathleen and Sr. Josephine and the deceased members of the Sisters of Mercy, Western Province.
 
Rest In Peace.
 
Deeply regretted and fondly remembered by her sisters Bridie (Berreen) Derroon, Nancy (Walker) Scotland, and Rose (Rouse) Ballina, her brothers Michael (Corhober) and Paddy (U.S.A.), brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, the Sisters of Mercy (Western Province), relatives, and many friends.
 
Sister Attracta will repose at the Perry Funeral Home, Ballymote (F56 TK20) on Monday, 15th July from 5pm to 6.30pm, followed by removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote - to arrive at 7pm.
 
Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Columba's cemetery, Ballymote.
