Mary Maureen McGowan (née Gillard),

Carralavin, Bonniconlon, Ballina, Co. Mayo - peacefully, at Galway University Hospital.


Deeply mourned by her loving husband Aiden, sons Brendan and Liam, daughter Jacinta, brother Sean, daughter in law Denise, grandchildren Rory and Amy, brothers in law, sisters in law, relatives and a large circle of friends.

R.I.P.

Remains reposing at her residence (F26  KR81) on Monday evening from 5 o’clock until 10 o’clock.

Removal on Tuesday morning to the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Bonniconlon to arrive for 11 o’clock Mass with burial afterwards in Bonniconlon cemetery.

House private on Tuesday morning please.

I have many lovely memories from my childhood of days spent in 'McGowans' when I'd go off down the road on my bike and wouldn't return for hours. 'Maureen's chips' were always my favourite. Maureen was more than a neighbour, she was a dear friend of our family and we will miss her greatly. Rest in peace Maureen, you won't be forgotten.
