Catherine Delaney née Bergin

Tarmon Manor, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Moyglass, Co. Tipperary and Nottingham, England – 4th June 2024, peacefully at University College Hospital, Galway in the company of her loving son Gerard.

Beloved wife of the late Michael Joseph (Joe) and sister of the late Veronica.

Devoted Mum of Gerard. Catherine will be forever loved and sadly missed by her family Gerard, Kieran, Brendan and Siobhan, daughter-in-law Jacinta, adored grandchildren Jake and Katie, brothers Paddy and Michael, sister Maura SMG, sisters-in-law Dinah, Sr. Teresa, Frances and Kathleen, nieces Marion and Caroline, nephew Josh, grandnephew Anthony, Joe’s extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends. 

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Catherine will lie in repose at the Gaynor Funeral Home, Castlerea on Friday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock with removal at 7.15 to St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea.

Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Catherine’s funeral Mass will be live-streamed on St. Patrick’s Church webcam (LIVE ONLY)
