Mary Carey née Donoghue,

Aughadoone, Belmullet, Co. Mayo and formerly of Ballydesmond, Co. Cork - peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar surrounded by her loving family on 7th May 2024.

Predeceased by her husband Sean, parents John and Kitty and brothers Paddy and John Joe.

Beloved mother of John Joe, Paddy, Eddie and Billy.

She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, daughter-in-law Aoife, cherished grandchildren Oisín, Molly and Ruby, brother Eddie (Ballydesmond, Co. Cork), sister Kathleen Boreham (Lincoln), brother-in-law Paddy Carey and his wife Patricia (Shanahee, Belmullet), good friend John Carroll (Ballydesmond, Co. Cork), nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Thursday evening from 5 o’clock until 6.30 with funeral arriving at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne at 8 o’clock.

Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 noon followed by burial in Tarmoncarra Cemetery.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass is available for viewing on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page on Friday at 12 noon.
