Kevin Swords (also known as Patrick),

formerly of Barrack Street, Charlestown, Co. Mayo - died in Liverpool on 20th April 2024.

Kevin, a retired psychiatrist, was originally from Charlestown, Co. Mayo and lived in many places including Liverpool, the Isle of Man, London, Castlebar, Bray, Cyprus, Newcastle, Wales, Zimbabwe, Canada, and Belfast. 

Kevin died in St. Joseph’s Hospice, Thornton, Merseyside.

Predeceased by his parents Mary and Michael, his brother Aidan and his sister Bernadette.

Very sadly missed by his sister Attracta, his brother Colm, his sister-in-law Carmel, his cousins, nieces and nephews and his dear friends.

May Kevin rest in peace.

Kevin will repose at the Horkan Funeral Home (F12D393), Charlestown on Friday evening from 6 o’clock until 7 o’clock and will be removed to St. James' Church, Charlestown at 7.30pm.

Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Mass can be viewed on https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/charlestown.
