James (Jimmy) Burke,

Cloonarkin, Cloonfad, Co. Roscommon - 3rd May 2024, peacefully in his 89th year in the loving care of the staff of Ave Maria Nursing Home, Tooreen.

Jimmy is predeceased by his parents James and Nora.

Jimmy will be deeply missed by his sister Mary, cousins, neighbours and friends. 

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace. 

Reposing at the PJ Keane Funeral Home, Cloonfad from 5pm - 7pm on Sunday evening with removal at 7.15pm to St. Patrick's Church, Cloonfad.

Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon on Monday with burial afterwards in Cloonfad cemetery.

My grandmother Delia McGee was Jimmy's mom's sister. I met Jimmy about forty years ago on a visit to Ireland. He was such a gentleman and showed my son and I around the farm. It has always been a highlight for me to meet my relatives back in Ireland. Please give my prayers and love to Mary. God bless her as well as Jimmy.
