Mary Bernadette Gallagher (better known as Bernie),

9 Cahir, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo and formerly of Newcastle, Co. Down - suddenly at Mayo University Hospital.

Dearly loved wife of the late Brendon who died in June 2023.

Loving mother of Gavin, Gareth and Ciara.

Will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, her mother Teresa, daughters-in-law Caroline and Jen, son-in-law Mickey and grandchildren Lauren, Shanagh, Jack, Sean, Conor, Darragh, Brenáinn, Fiádh, her sisters Noreen and Norma, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and all the family circle.

May she rest in peace.

Bernie will repose at her home 9 Cahir, Louisburgh, F28 T9C4 on Friday, 3rd May from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock.

She will also repose at M.J Sawey and Sons Chapel of Rest, 9 Bryansford Avenue, Newcastle, Co. Down, BT33 OAX on Sunday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock.

Funeral Mass on Monday morning in the Church of Our Lady of The Assumption, Newcastle, Co. Down at 10 o’clock.

Afterwards Bernie will be laid to rest in St. Patricks Cemetery, Bryansford.

im so sorry to hear of your poor mams death may she rest in peace.i can't believe she is gone so soon after your poor dad brendon i was talking to your mam shortly after your dads death it was great to talk to her she was always thinking of others and she missed your da so much but she would have hated to see him suffer and poor bracken i hope he is ok and still alive she felt sorry for him she said it was a job to get him out for walks after brendons death and they were truly loyal friends.my heart goes out to all of you at this sad time but please god they are together in heaven now and happy again ye are in our prayers at this sad time.
