Pat Whelan, 

Birmingham, England and formerly of Limerick City and Culleen, Kilsallagh, Westport - on 16th April 2024.

Pre-deceased by his wife Catherine Whelan (nee Needham), Culleen, Kilsallagh, Westport.

Sadly missed by his son Adrian, daughter Edel, daughter-in-law Christine, son-in-law Mark, grandchildren Connor, Colette, Erin & Cara, extended family, relatives, neighbours & friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Pat will repose at his residence in Culleen, Kilsallagh, Westport this Thursday evening from 6pm until 8pm.

Funeral Mass in St. Patrick's Church, Lecanvey this Friday, 3rd May at 11.30 with burial afterwards in Murrisk Abbey Cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be live streamed on the Lecanvey Community Centre Facebook page.

We were very saddened to hear of dear Pat’s passing and wish to send our deepest condolences to Adrian, Edel, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren and the extended Whelan family. Pat was a wonderful neighbour and friend and over the years have had many great chats and shared many stories. We were so sorry to miss his Requiem Mass as are on holiday but are happy to have such lovely memories of him. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all at this sad time. Sorry to hear of the passing of Patrick RIP one fine gentleman I've known Patrick and his late wife Catherine for years lovely couple to meet many times. I last saw Patrick last October at the same hospital when both of us were there for check ups we both had great chat then. Well he will be in heaven with his lovely wife Catherine.
