Eugene Devenney, 

Breaffy, Ballina and formerly of Castlederg, Co. Tyrone and Birmingham – peacefully passed away on 12 April 2024, surrounded by his loving family, at the Mayo Hospice. 

Eugene will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Áine; daughter Philomena; sons Aidan and Anthony; grandchildren, Siobhán, Catherine, Grace and Sean; great-granddaughter, Rosie; daughters-in-law, Sue and Marie, and his extended family in Ireland and the UK. 

Eugene will be reposing at his home on Sunday evening, 14th April from five o’clock.

Requiem Mass will be held in St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina on Monday at 1:30pm, followed by burial in Leigue cemetery. 

Funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.ballinaparish.org.

Eugene will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten.
