Peggy Kearney,

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of our beloved Peggy Kearney, Ardoley and formerly of Cloonagh, Westport, Co.Mayo

Peggy is predeceased by her parents Patrick and Annie Kearney,her brothers Mark,Tony and Pat,her sisters Rita Reilly and Sally Brady.

Peggy is survived by her sisters Maureen Heneghan (Partry) and Carmel Quinn (Upper Quay),her brother Seán Kearney (Cloonagh),her sisters in law Nora and Christine,brothers in law John, Kevin and Liam, nieces, nephews, ousins and her many friends.

Peggy will be sorely missed and forever in the hearts of the Reilly’s-John, Hilda, Pauline, Marita, Donna and Patrick, their extended families and her special friends Margaret and Mike.

Reposing at McGing's Funeral Home, Westport (F28 RX58) on Monday (April 1st) from 5:30pm with removal at 7:00pm to St. Mary's Church, Westport.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday (April 2nd) at 1:00pm with the funeral proceeding to Aughavale cemetery.

I first met Peggy in 1996 when she was feeding a lamb with her little nieces at their Ardoley home. I was very lucky to continue a friendship since this time with Peggy, Rita and her children and over the years we have enjoyed many get togethers when I was back in Westport, memories that I will always cherish. Peggy did not have a care in the world, she was absolutely worshipped by her family. Peggy's passing will be a massive loss to her loved ones but I hope they will get comfort that she is now reunited with her dear special sister Rita. Rest in peace to my lovely friend Peggy, you will never be forgotten.
