Predeceased by his father Paul and brother Gerard.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken mother Maureen, his sisters Paula, Breda and Emer, girlfriend Sinead Walsh, nephews and nieces, Diarmuid, Lughaidh, Rosa, Louisa, Iosaf, Saoirse and Líadan, brothers-in-law Robbie Harris and Dónal Siggins, relatives, neighbour and friends.

I visited his father's grace in Elmhall last week and said a little prayer whilst I was visiting my grandparents grave, Margaret and Patrick Staunton, cloonduane, belcarra who were great neighbours of the Mitchell family, Maureen's home place.
