Richard (Rick) Bono,

26 Manor Gardens, Church Road, Ballina, Co. Mayo and formerly of East Hampton, New York, USA - unexpectedly at Mayo University Hospital.

Rick predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mildred.

Beloved husband of Finola and dear father of Brian.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife and son, brother Joe and wife Carol, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

May he Rest in Peace.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) on Thursday evening, 29th February from 5 o’clock with removal at 6.30 to St. Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina.

Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11.30 with funeral proceeding to Leigue Cemetery, Ballina for burial.

Ricks’s funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.ballinaparish.org

I am so sorry to hear of Rick's passing. Although we haven't seen each other in years, I fondly remember growing up in Amagansett with Ricky as a good friend. Our parents were best of friends. May he rest in peace and may Finola and Brian know that he is with our God now and happy.
