Dell (Bridget) Derrig née Kyne,

Gurteen, Shrule - suddenly, at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar on the 16th of February 2024.

Predeceased by her husband Padraig Derrig, her grandsons Fergal and Aaron, her brothers Paddy and Junior Kyne and her sister Mary Crampton. Dell is deeply regretted by her sons and daughters Mary Derrig (Craughwell), Freda Gray (Shrule), Anthony Derrig (Shrule), John Derrig (Shrule), Bridget Murphy (Ballinrobe) and Loretta Heaney (Claremorris). Also regretted by her sons-in-law Sean, Martin and Michael, and daughters-in-law Anne and Caroline, her 29 grandchildren and her great grandchildren, her sister Freda Davey (Manchester) and brother Tim Kyne (Shrule), her sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours. 

May Dell’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Dell will be reposing at Cradock's Funeral Home, Shrule on Sunday evening from 6pm to 7:30pm with removal afterwards to her home.

Removal from her home for Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon in St. Joseph’s Church, Shrule with burial afterwards in Donaghpatrick cemetery. 

The mass will be live streamed on the Shrule Parish Facebook page and will also be broadcast on local radio on 101.4 FM.
