James (Jimmy) Gilmartin,

Whitestream, Bonniconlon, Ballina, Co. Mayo  - passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in Ballina Hospital on February 8th, 2024 .

Beloved husband of Kitty and dear father of Mary, Jacqueline, Adrian and Andrew.

Predeceased by his parents Jim and Mary, brothers John, Paddy & Charlie and his sisters Mary & Anne.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters, sons, daughter-in-law Bríd, son-in-law Noel, grandchildren Cillian & Ciara, sisters Breege O’Connor (Limerick), Kay Sweeney (Ballina), nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

His remains will be reposing at Gallagher’s Funeral Home, Bonniconlon (F26 YOE7) on Friday, 9th February from 6pm until 8pm.

Requiem Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Bonniconlon on Saturday at 12 noon with burial afterwards In Bonniconlon Cemetery.
