Margaret Mary (Peggy) Murphy nee Carney,

Drumacoo, Kilcolgan, Galway and formerly of Arderry, Aghamore, Co. Mayo - died suddenly and peacefully at University Hospital, Galway on Saturday, 3rd of February 2024.

Wife of the late Joe (Carnacrow, Headford), daughter of the late Michael and Annie Carney (Arderry, Aghamore), mother of the late Karen Dey (nee Murphy). 

Deeply mourned by her son Tony and daughter Jackie; loving sisters Eileen O’Brien (Kilkelly), Christina Knight (Arderry), Marion Carney (Arderry), brothers Tommy Carney (Castlebar), Michael Carney (Meeltrane) and Brendan Carney (Manchester), grandchildren Erin, Samantha, Joseph, Niall, and Lidia; sons in law Terry & Rob, great grandchildren Bobby & Nelly, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May She Rest in Peace

Remains reposing at The Corless Funeral Home, Kinvara (H91 R25K) on Wednesday evening, February 7th from 5 p.m. until  7 p.m.

Requiem Mass will be held at St. Colman’s Church, Ballinderreen (H91N611) on Thursday, February 8th, at 12 noon.

Interment after in Drumacoo cemetery.

The Mass can be viewed on Ballinderreen and Kinvara Facebook page.
