Breege Fleming née Flynn,

Stripe, Milltown, Galway and formerly of Granlahan, Ballinlough, Co. Roscommom - peacefully and unexpectedly at University Hospital, Galway in the presence of her children.

Predeceased by her husband Paddy, her parents Patrick and Mary and her brother Michael.

Deeply regretted by her loving family; daughter Alice, sons Conor and Michael, daughter-in-law Edyta, grandchildren Zachary and Grace, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Glynn's Funeral Home, High Street, Tuam on Saturday evening from 5.30pm until 7.00pm followed by removal to her home.

Funeral Mass at St Joseph's Church, Milltown on Sunday at 11.30am followed by burial in Irishtown Cemetery.

The news of the passing of Breege came as a great shock on Thursday. When it came to loyal listeners to my shows on Midwest Radio, Breege was in the top league and that goes back for more than three decades. She even heard the request for her last Sunday night. Her faithful transistor radio was always by her side until I signed off, often after 2am!
Breege and Paddy (who died in 2019) were genuinely good, decent and great people with a love of family and community that enriched the lives of all who knew them. I extend condolences to her family, Alice, Conor and Michael, daughter-in-law Edyta, grandchildren Zachary and Grace, nieces, nephews, relatives, and all her neighbours and friends on the borderline of Galway and Mayo at this sad time.
