Pat McCarthy,

Rathmeel Lawns, Ballina and formerly of Kenmare, Co. Kerry - peacefully, at the Mayo Hospice, Castlebar surrounded by his loving family on 21st January 2024.

Beloved son of the late Paddy and Mary (Co. Kerry) and brother of the late Bill and Mary.

Pat, beloved husband of Betty and loving father of Paul, Ross, Jonathon, Kelley and Niamh.  Sadly, missed by his wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law David Treacy and Adam Ellwood, Paul’s partner Daniella, Ross’s Partner Georgina, beloved grandchildren Donnacha, Cormac, Karen, Aoife, Aedan and Lottie, brother John (Kerry), sisters Peg O’Sullivan (Kerry) and Joan O’Brien (Kerry), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

REST IN PEACE.

Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) on Tuesday evening from 7pm until 8:30pm.

Funeral will arrive to St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina on Wednesday morning for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30am followed by burial in Leigue cemetery, Ballina.

Pat’s Funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.ballinaparish.org.
