It was with deep regret we read of Michael's passing. It was a pleasure to have known him as a friend, from his time at Westport Demense and Westport Angling Club and through the North Western Regional Fishery Board, and later the Western Board. As we say in Westport, Michael was 'a sound man' and a top class operator in any of the fields he chose. He could also be prevailed upon to give a rendition of 'My Way'. Condolences to all Michael's Family. May he rest in peace.
