Seamus Lally
Parks, Clogher Claremorris Co. Mayo - 7th January 2024 - peacefully

Pre deceased by his parents James and Catherine, brothers John and Vincent and by his sister Maureen.

Deeply regretted by his brothers Joe, Peter and Thomas also by his sister Loretta. Sadly missed by his nephews, nieces, grand nieces  and grand nephews, relatives neighbours and friends

Remains reposing on Tuesday evening in Carnacon Community Centre from 6.30 with removal at 8 o clock to St. Marys Church, Carnacon.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon with the burial afterwards in Burriscarra Cemetery.

My heartfelt sympathy to all the Lally family on the passing of Seamus. As children growing up in the village of Parks we were so lucky to have our family surrounded, supported and partially raised by the two generations who walked the village road before us. And that was exactly the way it was, we ran in and out of each other's houses as if they were our own. We were blessed to have many great people of all sorts teach us many varied lessons down the years. I suppose when it comes to Seamus it was his quiet, kind nature, welcoming smile and few words that let you know that he was one of the most kind and gentle men one could meet. I'm sure he is now reunited with all our great neighbours who've gone before us. There will be many up there to welcome him back to the fold and God will reward him for being who he was, humble and kind to his core. God rest you Seamus Lally. May you enjoy the reunion with your parents, family and neighbours and rest in the peace that you richly deserve.
