Farmhill, Claremorris, Co. Mayo - unexpectedly at home on January 2nd,surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his late wife Terri and his parents Michael and Mary Ann.

David will be sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret, sons John and Darrell, stepchildren Aine, Sandra, Elaine, and Eugene, grandchildren Nicole, Amelia, Harper, Zack, and Adam, brothers Frank, Jimmy and Joe, sister Rita, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing at St. Colman’s Funeral Home, Lower James Street, Claremorris (F12 R3W8) on Thursday evening (Jan.4th) from 5 o’clock with removal at 7 o’clock to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Crossboyne.

Funeral Mass at 12 noon on Friday (Jan. 5th) with burial afterwards in Crossboyne Cemetery.

Funeral mass will be live streamed on Taugheen Community Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/taugheencommunity.

How frightfully sorry we were on hearing of the very sudden death of our great neighbour, David Fahy. What can one say about David Fahy, only that he was a first Class gentleman to the hilt, he will be terrible missed by the community of Crossboyne, where he gave so much of his valuable time to, down through the years. David, served on numerous committees meeting, down through the years, he was a very intelligent man, when David Fahy spoke at meetings one listened, with great interest. David was a person of inspiring Knowledge.
We now send our heartfelt sympathy to David's wife Margaret, on the death of her dear husband, to David's Sons John and Darrell on the death of their dear and much loved father. To his sister Rita and to his brothers grandchildren, step children, nephews nieces, neighbours and to his many friends,of home David had many.
May David's gentle soul rest in heavenly peace, where he will now be reunited, with all of his loved ones in heaven. Amen.
