Rathconnor, Four-Mile-House, Co Roscommon - peacefully, in the presence of her family and in the devoted care of the staff at the Roscommon Hospice on December 24th, 2023.
Deeply regretted by her loving husband Seamus, son David, brothers Eddie, Frank, Michael and Barry, her brothers-in-law Joe and Michael, sisters-in-law Evelyn, Mary, Mary, Angelique and Pamela, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Resting at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Tuesday (December 26th) from 3.30pm until 5pm.
Funeral Service in St. Colman’s Church of Ireland, Roscommon (F42 AW26) on Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in Ballinderry cemetery, Four-Mile-House.
May’s family would like to thank the staff of the Galway Clinic and the Roscommon Palliative Care Unit for their loving care of May during her final illness.
May was in my class at Crossboyne national school.
She was an exceptional student,and I am saddened to hear of her passing.
May she rest in peace.

May lived across the field from the Fitzgerald family in the Dower House. We went to Crossboyne school together.
May was always a kind and gentle friend and we shared comics and books .
