Mary (Kathleen) Lowery née Forry,

Old Road, Tuam, Galway and Kilkee, Clare.

Kathleen, in her 108th year, went to God on 20th December 2023, peacefully at her home.

Predeceased by her first husband Jack Treacy and second husband James Lowery.

Much loved mother of Joan, Michael, Viola and William.

Sadly missed by her children, son-in-law Michael, daughters-in-law Marian and Lei Teng, her grandchildren Clare, Tracey and Stephen, their spouses Aidan, Michael and Zoi, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Kathleen will be reposing at Grogan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tuam (H54 Y677) on Friday evening from 5 o’clock with removal at 7 o’clock to the Cathedral of the Assumption.

Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11.30 o’clock.

Funeral afterwards to Tuam Cemetery.

I was saddened to hear the passing of Old Road's, longing serving Resident 94 in her 108th year, an amazing innings.
Mrs. Kathleen Lowery an excellent example of old school neighbours.
They looked after one another in the old days, Mrs.Biggins. Bridge & Paddy Lynch, Rita Gill martin, Nora Higgins her mother in the sweet shop, as we youngsters drove them all crazy playing up and down the Old Road
There will be some heavenly reunion of their spiritual souls, led by the chorus ✨️ of glorious angels welcoming Mrs. Lowery , as she receives her heavenly rewards in the presence of the Saviour LORD ❤️ JESUS CHRIST AMEN .....
